## Description

3M Scotch 130C Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape is a highly conformable, linerless Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), high-voltage insulating tape that provides excellent thermal dissipation of splice heat. The tape is designed for use in splicing and terminating wires and cables. Rated up to 194F continuous operating temperatures and short-term 266F overload service. It also meets industry specifications and has excellent physical and electrical properties (which are unaffected by the degree of stretch), which helps provide immediate moisture seal and void-free buildups.3M Scotch 130C is self-fusing which means it is an adhesive-free tape that fuses only to itself (no sticky residue left on surfaces). This tape should be applied in successive half-lapped level wound layers until the desired build-up is reached.3M Scotch 130C Linerless Rubber Splicing tape should be applied like any rubber tape; that is, the side of the tape wrapped inside the roll should be applied outside on the splice (tacky side up). This will help prevent the roll from getting progressively further away from the work area. To eliminate voids in critical areas, highly elongate 130C tape. Stretch tape in critical areas just short of the breaking point; doing so will not alter its physical or electrical properties. Made in the U.S. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 19mm wide. **Q: looking to try this tape on a computer gaming mouse. as an anti-slip and and anti-sweat tape.to provide better and more durable grip. could this work?**
A: I'm not sure that this tape will do the trick for you. This tape has to overlap on itself to work. I used it to wrap connections. You need to overlap about 50%. The tape has no glue that you can feel to the touch. It gets its bound when the tape is stretched and than after a several days the tape will become infused to itself as if it were one piece of tape. Hope this helps you out. I can't see how you could wrap it around the mouse. Good luck.

**Q: Is the item weight really 11.44 pounds?**
A: No, it weights about the same as an average roll of masking tape.

**Q: Shelf life?**
A: I agree with previous commenters that the shelf life is impressive.  I've had a roll for 15-20 yrs.  (I don't waste it on insignificant stuff.)  But I used about 10" yesterday to repair the outer sheath of an electrical cord and it worked just as well as day 1.

**Q: Would this work on the roof of an suv to prevent scratching when carrying loads on roof?**
A: I doubt it is sticky enough to hold to a roof. It is designed to be stretched over itself on a wire
