It works, it's easy to use, it's inexpensive. Whether or not it's accurate, I don't know and I suggest it's a poor substitute for an NHS test but at least I can compare one result with another and check to see if any attempts to reduce blood sugar are effective. Review: Highly inaccurate - Highly inaccurate! Don’t bother! I bought to check my Haemoglobin levels. All the instructions were followed but the machine consistently gave dangerously high readings of over 18 and sometimes over 19. I had to go to dr for emergency blood test. I even used a drop of venous blood when they took the sample to check. Machine said Hb was19.2 whereas lab reading was 15.6 also cholesterol on machine was 4.5 and lab was 6.3. All readings miles out.
