Review: Great Product; Possible Resume Booster - I bought these as an easily concealable snack during workouts or other outdoor work, and they are just that. They can easily be stuffed in a pocket and still contain enough carbs to effectively treat a low blood sugar. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it is important to note that they are very well sealed; to the point they are extremely challenging to open. Low blood sugar, shaky fingers, sweaty hands, and glossy plastic packaging will make you seriously question your sanity, while simultaneously putting on a great show for those lucky enough to witness the event. I first discovered this while on a run in 90+ degree heat. As I felt some minor symptoms of low blood sugar coming on, I whipped out the convenient little package from my belt, and for 3 minutes, twisted my fingers in ways I simply cannot duplicate, determined to rip off the tiny little plastic tap at the top. I finally decided my teeth would be the only way I was going to get into this surprisingly durable piece of plastic. I bit the tab, then realized my hand was still too sweaty to effectively grasp the pouch. As I attempted to dry my hands, I paused to recognize that I, a fully grown man, was running down the street flapping his hands like a bird, with a little plastic pouch, grasped firmly in my teeth flinging back and forth like a dog with its chew toy. Thankfully, I did eventually break in to the impenetrable vault of fruit goo. Needless to say, it’s very durable, and will not burst in your pocket. A fair warning, though, the experience may be something you’re able to list on your resume.

**Q: What are the ingredients? What does the glucose come from?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry.
The TRUEplus glucose gel contains water, dextrose, glycerin, maltodextrin, xanthan gum, citric acid, natural and artificial fruit punch flavor, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, acesulfame potassium, and FC&C Red #40.  
The Dextrose is a naturally occurring sugar that comes from corn.

**Q: If I smoosh them in the bottom of my backpack with weight on them, will they pop open and leak?**
A: I've not carried mine in a backpack  but I have carried the in my purse and they take quite a beating and have not leaked. I do try to put them to the side so nothing is put on top of them but they slide down sometimes and, as I said, I've never had one leak.
