After struggling a bit and failing to be able to use the syringe/plungers that come with the over the counter medicines we purchased several products to try something else. This was the best out of the ones that we tried and we have been using this exclusively for several months since.You can use this as a syringe to suck up the medicine from the bottle but for something like Motrin where the dosage is a small volume I found it more accurate to use the one that comes in the Motrin box and then transfer it to the mini medicator. This method does require you to be careful and can make a mess. So my only knock on this product would be that it is not easy to transfer medicine to it if you do not use it as a syringe. After squirting medicine all over the kitchen in the middle of the night one time I have gotten the prep down now.As far as administering medicine it works quite well. The shield prevents spilling back out and the design shoots the medicine off to the sides of the mouth which does not choke our kid if he's on his back like the out of the box syringes would. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was a life savor for our poor little baby that had reflux for the first 5 ... *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2016* This was a life savor for our poor little baby that had reflux for the first 5 months of her life. We had to give her medicines everyday at least once a day. This made it a lot easier to get her to take it. The idea and design of this product is great in concept but it was very hard to fill and shut. I would have to put my finger over the nipple hole so it didn't leak when filling and then a lot of times I would have to use my teeth to clamp the backing shut because it was soo difficult to snap with my fingers.... so while I was clamping it shut with my teeth, I had to maneuver and keep my finger over the nipple hole so the meds didn't leak out. I am definitely glad we had it for her meds but I just think a little tweaking to its flaws and this product would be a lot more user friendly. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3 weeks of use *by N***K on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2013* I loved this pacifier and concept, then the opening cracked after 3 weeks of use. The nipple material is pretty stiff and I guess that contributed to the cracking. BUT, before that it was fabulous. Better than the Numimed by far. Love being able to push/blow the medicine down when it got stuck in the back. Hole was small enough so that the medication didn't leak out. Back snapped closed and open without too much trouble. Reservoir was a nice size - not too big, not too small. Great concept, but save your money.
