She has not had a pair since she slipped in the house while wearing the type of slippers that have no back on them. I was hesitant to purchase any for her because of her history with falling, but every time I talked to her she mentioned how she would sure like a pair of slippers. Anyway, I decided to look for a slipper that could be tightened at the toe area to fit snugly. I also wanted a slipper with a back on it. I couldn't find any in the local stores but found this slipper through Amazon. Mom was really happy when she got these slippers and says she likes them. I've cautioned her to not wear them all day long as her foot needs more support, so she wears them in the morning when she first gets up and in the evening when she is getting ready for bed. ### ⭐⭐ Nice fit but tore within 2 weeks along Velcro flap. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2019* I needed slippers while I was healing from a broken leg, ankle, and foot. So that foot was swollen and much larger than the other. These were a good solution as one could be tighter and one lose.The one that was pulled tighter for my regular foot, began to tear right along the edge of the Velcro, still wearable but for it should have lasted much longer.The one for my swollen foot did fit, have to wear a sock with them though, otherwise part of the Velcro rubs on my skin.They work but weren’t that great.I wouldn’t buy them again. The open toe concept was nice but the flap catches easily.
