It was found to be about 47% stearic acid, about 52% palmitic acid, less than 1% myristic acid, and less than 1% arachidic acid.  I understand that the processes commonly used for producing food-grade stearic acid result in a product that is about 50/50 stearic acid and palmitic acid.
