I agree! I was given it daily after having foot surgery while I was in a nursing home for 3 months. (The Doctor had to break my foot in 3 places and rebuild it from the foot bed up, with 7 pins in it) I had a heel ulcer and a 1 1/2”X 2” wound on the top of my foot. I tried mixing it with several things, but the best way was to put it in a 1 oz. pill cup, shoot it down an follow it with ice water. Mixing it with anything just prolonged the agony. **Q: type of sweetner** A: Pro-Stat is sugar free,contains fructose, a low glycemic sweetener. **Q: Whatnsweetner is used?** A: Pro-Stat 64 is sugarfree...no sweetener added which is what I use. I use 1oz medicine cups to pour it in my 16oz bottle of water (after drinking a little out to make room) shake it up really good and there’s a slight citrus almost tropical taste. The liquid is thick and sticky so I recommend wiping off the bottle after each use to prevent drips and stickiness. I’m a variation patient who since surgery I just can’t tolerate protein shakes. I used to like them pre surgery.
