But it's dose work well-removing dust from anything before painting! **Q: Are these the same as tack clothes used for sports grips? For the price seems like if they were close it’s completely worth it** A: No! these are used for removing dust before painting! **Q: Can you use this on your car windshield before tinting?** A: I cannot say for sure, but I seriously doubt that using a tack cloth is a good idea for this end use. As the name implies, a tack cloth is sticky and latches onto bits of sawdust on wood that’s undergoing refinishing. Ever (inadvertently) stick your finger in a mouse-glue trap? That’s what the tack cloth feels like. Sticky. I suggest that you use a new microfiber cleaning cloth that has gone through a washing machine and a dryer. No detergent & no fabric softener. This is no different than putting a glass screen protector onto your cell phone or laptop. You want the screen ultra clean and there should be no residue of your cleaning agents to interfere with your applied film. **Q: Can these be washed and reused?** A: No. I think they would lose their tackiness completely if they were washed. They are so cheap that you use them and throw them away. They do open up to quite a large piece. Make sure you unfold all the way. They are quite large ## Frequently Bought Together - Dura-Gold - Pure Gold Superior Tack Cloths - Tack Rags (Box of 12) - Woodworking and Painters Professional Grade - Removes Dust, Sanding Particles, Cleans Surfaces - Wax and Silicone Free, Anti-Static - KREFINISH Painters Tape for Car Paint Green No Residue Automotive Masking Tape for Automotive Paint - Heat Resistant for Paint Booth, 0.7 Inches x 60 Yards, 6 Rolls - Dura-Gold Premium 6" x 9" Maroon General Purpose Scuff Pads, Box of 10 - Scuffing, Scouring, Sanding, Paint Primer Prep Adhesion Scratch - Surface Preparation Automotive Car Auto Body Woodworking Wood --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/369450517-dura-gold-pure-gold-tack-cloths-tack-rags-box-12](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/369450517-dura-gold-pure-gold-tack-cloths-tack-rags-box-12) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
