It imobilizes S1 - L1 vertebrae securely & stays comfortably in place. I love it's adjustability and durability. I am purchasing my 6th King of King braces because, I've given 4 away to friends who now also swear by it. My docs have recommended fusing me from S1 to T9 but NO WAY. I might as well strap a board to my torso. But, the King of Kings brace keeps me safe and feeling supported.
