Introduced as an affordable alternative to GT Standard case mounted pump. Same performance in a DIY kit. Great for typical DIY and homeowner use. GasTapper moves gasoline & fuels without siphoning or getting a mouthful of gas. It's a convenient fuel transfer pump with all the required lines & fittings to move gas from one gas tank/container to another. Has the added ability to transfer fuel out of many cars allowing you access to your own fresh fuel as needed around the home, while camping, filling RV's, small engines & emergencies. (note: not guaranteed to work on every vehicle) Storing gas in a garage poses dangerous fire & explosion risks. Stored gas goes bad over just a few months. Many gas powered devices met an early grave as a result of gas becoming plasticized leaving blockages in the fuel system. GT uses an automotive fuel pump. It's a great pump that can dry siphon and; lift fuel 72" on the suction side and push another 72" on output side. I bought it to pump DEF. The DEF containers are a real pain. They are big and they leak and they don't pour fast. My DEF fill is toward the cab and getting the DEF container in there was terrible. I had to stand on a ladder. Crazy PITA.I mounted the pump to a board for stability. I cut the yellow tube in half and put one end in the DEF container (which now sits on the ground where it belongs) and run the other to the DEF fill port and use those orange tube holders for stability and click on the pump and BAM...Done!Also like the fact that they cigarette plug has a LED so you know if you've got power.I highly recommend and would buy again.Shipping was very fast, arrived a couple days before it was supposed to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value and works well *by B***D on March 18, 2017* I have 3 5gallons containers of high-octane gas (alcohol free) that needs to be rotated. This worked perfectly in transfer to my gas tank. As suggested by others, I bought a $5 gas line filter instead of using the one supplied: Outlaw Racing OR2210 Motorcycle Inline Gas Fuel Line Filter ATV Utv Snowmobile Quad Scooter 1/4". This works perfectly with the pump. The other options for paying almost twice as much for a tubing with a coil around the tubing doesn’t make sense. This is a better value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works GREAT! *by M***T on February 16, 2017* Kit has everything you need plus some things you do not know you need until you try them. The plastic hose clamp anchors are ingenious and work Really well. The pump is small, quiet and I think the remote on off switch improves safety. Pump is surprisingly quiet, low frequency thumping sound and it took about 15 minutes to transfer 5 gallons of diesel into my car.
