What's the outer diameter?** A: The outside diameter is 9.5". The inside diameter is 8.75". **Q: Can these be used in a pressure cooker?** A: No. There is no way to keep steam from coming out. Not to mention you must use food warnings for pressure cooking of you might end up very ill. **Q: Where is it made - China?** A: I think so, but not sure **Q: Can you use steamer in microwave?** A: I don’t know, but can’t imagine why you’d want to. I use it instead of a microwave, boiling about a cup of water in a pot under the steamer to heat things.
