**Q: Have you tested if this can be wiped off from plastic or metal surfaces once it has dried?**
A: Unfortunately, I didn't get to use mine as it was dried out when I received it. So, I would not purchase this item again.

Works as expected, which was a relief after seeing comments about dried out pens. While it leaves a mark, it's really only visible if you know to look for it which is basically the case for anything marker like this. Only negative ding (may be a seller or shipper issue?) was because it took way too long to arrive, seemed to take 4-5 weeks after ordering and that's with Prime!
