**Q: Label say "paella rice" but what kind of rice is it?  is it bomba rice?**
A: It is paella rice, but it is not bomba. This same brand does carry bomba. I think it's in a blue label, and it is clearly marked bomba.

**Q: I have a bag from matiz that says espana and one that says valenciano. are they the same?**
A: Yes they are the same. Matiz is going through a rebranding strategy across their entire line. They are still the same products you've grown to love, it's just the regions will be eliminated from the packaging.

**Q: How much broth for 5 cups of paella rice?**
A: I use an 8qt Dutch oven with 1 1/2 cups rice and around 3-4 cups of broth plus a can of diced tomatoes that is not drained. It’s a little on the wet side so it’s cook’s preference but around 1-2 cups of broth per cup of rice is traditional

By far, the best paella rice that I've used. The recipe that is in the package is spot on if you are a beginner. Also live that this comes with a flour sack container, no plastic. I've kept the flour sack for use as a fish tag or to keep other grains. It's hard to find this in the grocery store, unfortunately. Fortunately, Amazon carries it.
