Just as any pvc fittings that Are 1 inch slip **Q: Do you offer the gaskets alone on Amazon? Want to have one on each side for 100% leak proof.** A: Gaskets are not listed. If you are installing the bulkhead thru a hard material they will not leak. The nut that turns against the hard side must be able to rotate to apply pressure forcing the rubber on the opposite side to compress and seal the bulkhead. A second gasket will not allow the nut to turn. **Q: Is a 1 1/2 inch diamond wholsesaw bit be okay for this bulk head** A: Yes. I used a 1.5 inch hole-saw to put a hole in a thick plastic sheet. I added a small bead of calk to the inside and outside of the fitting plus the rubber seal on the inside and I am quite happy with the water seal. I attached 1.25 inch plastic flex tube to the threaded end of the fitting after I heated the tube with a hot air gun until it was soft.
