I used it to replace a few corners and patch nail holes **Q: Will this work to fill in cracks on an exterior post?** A: This product will fill exterior cracks - and hold well - as long as the wood is not under water. Be sure the project is thoroughly dry - and the crack cleaned out before you begin. **Q: Can kwikwood be used for rotted wood repair? the window sill has rotted area with high moisture content.the product label mentions dry rot.** A: Yes you can. I used it on a fence gate that was rotted where the latch screws fell out.
