Review: Keeps the connections dry, but . . . . - I bought 2 Dri-Boxes to protect z-wave smart switches on my outdoor Christmas decorations. The achieved the goal of keeping the inner wiring dry (for now). However, they have one annoying trait. The recessed tops collect rain and 1/2 inch of water collects in them. Here when new, not a big deal. Down the road as they age, any slight crack or hole will turn the top into a funnel, directing all of the water in. Poor planning and design. They should shed water off the top.

The seal compound at the cable entry/exit points is amazingly squishy :) :( I accidentally discarded the cable retention bits so it's a little fiddly to close while keeping the cables centered in the seal area... don't throw them out!
