However, each one of these I’ve purchased has come out to 1018-1019g or about 2.24 lb instead of 2.43 lb. Either way this is still a good deal and will fill up a standard 9” pie crust (9” top interior diameter x 1.25” height) at least half way, which is what I was looking for. Just rinse away the dust once you receive the pie weights, dry them out and then they’re ready to use. If you use foil instead of parchment paper to line the pie crust dough, you won’t have to wash the pie weights with soap since fat can seep through parchment paper but won’t through the aluminum foil. If you’re concerned the pie crust will stick to the foil, you can always lay some parchment between the foil and pie crust. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars A bit chalky *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2022* Left in bag to run through dishwasher.
