I bought this case to solve that issue. The case is sturdy and fits the Surface Pro 5 perfectly. It offers protection to your computer in case you drop it. It comes with an adjustable hand holder on the back which rotates 360 degrees with stops at every quarter position so you can rotate your screen from horizontal to vertical. The strap on the back uses Velcro to make it adjust to your hand size. There is a pop up stand so you can use the computer to watch movies or whatever hands free. It comes with a shoulder strap if you wish to use it. All in all I am very satisfied with this case. There doesn’t seem to be a wide selection of these kinds of cases out there with protection for the device and a mechanism for using it as a hand held. This fits the bill. One potential negative I have found. The part on the back that holds the Velcro strap is a disk with slits in it for the strap. While the piece is a rugged plastic those slits are susceptible to breaking over time making the strap feature useless without good glue and a creative jerry-rig. Review: Happy with the order.
