Doctor finally cleared me to walk in Aircast boot, and I decided to go to the beach! I needed something to at least partially protect the boot from the dust and mud. I walked sandy, muddy, rocky trails for a long weekend and the cover held up pretty well. It didn't cover the bottom, which I knew. I ordered one size up from boot, fit great. Strap at top was a bit snug for my leg, but worked fine. Zipper held up well. I did wear a couple of holes in the bottom, but they could be fixed with a bit of duct tape.Id say they did a fair job of keeping most of the dirt out of the boot. They weren't perfect, but good enough to still wear the boot. I did have to disassemble and hand-wash the liner and boot after the weekend, but remember--the main goal was to keep foot protected and mostly clean. It worked great for that!
