Good variety of settings. The video stays clear, even in nasty raining weather. The instructions are easy to follow and once set up is done, the light/camera is easy to use. Makes for an affordable camera for commuting. Two things to remember when purchasing this unit. First, it's not an action camera. It's a camera for commuting. It makes it possible to show the license plates of the car that was not playing nice or the vehicle that picks you off when riding. The video is a loop. If you don't need the video, it will automatically write over old video. If you want a camera to film you jumping off ramps and hillsides, this is not the camera for you. Second, It's more than a camera. You get this light because you need a camera and a light for commuting. It saves space on your handle bars. The light is beautiful. It's very bright and has an array of settings. The camera will film well in bright or dim light and the lights can make a dark night light up extremely well.The one downside I have found is the battery life in cold weather. I commute in below freezing weather and cold weather from about 45 degrees down, really decreases the battery life. When it was 15 degrees, the batter dropped from 7 hours down to 45 minutes. The battery and light put out some good heat so I fixed the problem by cutting down a can koozie (Neoprene holder for soda cans) and sewing it to fit over the light. I have been using Contour cameras for years, but they don't protect video files upon impact, so made the switch. Hoping not to ever have to test that function of the camera. The long lasting battery was the selling point for me as this unit is twice the weight of the Contour action cam, but the bright LED strobe was a selling point.For now, I can't give 5 stars as I already had to do a factory reset on the unit on the second day of owning this. Hoping it may have been a one time issue or I will not be a happy camper. Will just have to see what Cycliq's customer service is like if that happens.UPDATE 12/27/18Well, the camera died. It won't charge. It won't turn on. Let's see now if Cycliq customer service is legit or not.UPDATE 3/16/19Cycliq customer service was good in walking me through a master reset, but another issue came up and the camera is not recording despite being turned on, etc. Opened up another ticket so will see what they do this time. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Nice insurance policy - Not really lived up to all the pre-launch Marketing blurb *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2016* Into my 3rd week of use and it's OK. Since my primary reason to get it was assurance to go along with my Fly6 that I have been using for over a year then in that regard it is still a great product. However after watching the marketing blurb ahead of launch it hasn't really lived up to all that promise and in that regard for the price ($349) has been just okay (maybe a 3.5 star) - here's why...i) it is way heavier than I was expecting - yes it is both a light and a fine 1080P camera, but in my opinion it is still just too heavy - I was expecting it to be closer overall to the Fly6 weight.ii) Mounting for me is more appropriate to go beneath the bars and under the Garmin computer - I'm going to guess that possibly half the users will attach below rather than above considering how you want the computer to be your primary visual. But ...once upside down you cannot see any LED - plus it isn't so easy to know which button is which and what the hell it is doing without stopping and looking. I think this was quite an oversight by the design team- even a smaller LED at the rear might have been enough to correct this if not an LED at both top and bottom.iv) I am not a fan of the Gopro style mount - it means every time it is installed it needs to be checked for vertical alignment, and it is fiddly to get on and off (again partly because of the mounting beneath the bars).iii) The app is a bit clunky but it is on the right track - however it isn't that intuitive and the Strava overlay has been a right pain to get working or to have enough memory to save any meaningful length of video.
