**Q: do you have to apply on both sides of the seam or just one side? also if it's one side, is it the inside or outside? thanks!**

Thank you for the question. For the best seal I would recommend applying to both sides. Apply one side allow it to dry and then apply the opposite side.

**Q: How many tubes would be needed to seal a 2-person sil nylon tarp? It has a ridge seam and two "gable end" seams.**
A: One tube should do the job, unless you really goop it on thick and heavy.  I have been working on a rainfly for a 4-person tent.  It has many seams so I had to get a second tube.  A two-person, simple tarp should pose no problems to cover with a single tube, IMHO.

**Q: Will this work on an older tent to seal the seams?**
A: Hello Buzz,

This sealant is designed to seal up seams coated in silicone which occurs on most tents. I would double check that your tent has silicone treated seams but it most likely would work without any issues.

**Q: Can I use this to adhere screen mesh to patch a 4 inch hole in the mesh portion of a lightweight tent?**
A: I think it would work fine. Down side is that there is not as much surface area for the adhesive to bond to.  I personally would hand stitch the patch to the screen and then go over the stitching and the overlapping portion (border) of the patch with the Seam Grip.
