For an off brand Wii Classic controller, the quality is that of the officially licensed Nintendo products in my opinion. Joysticks are tight and responsive, as are the buttons. These work on a Wii and also on a SNES or NES Classic, which is what I purchased them for, to play N64 games on them(bc they are modded and you need an analog stick to play a lot of them, hence why I purchased them). Great quality again for the money!! You won't be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐ You get what you pay for. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on 1 May 2019* I hope whoever is interested in buying reads this, because it is the most accurate representation of what you will get.TL;DR:There are minor quirks in both of the controllers that I got. Your experience with these controllers will depend entirely on if the game you're playing highlights their flaws. Below are the quirks I experienced, determine for yourself if this is a deal breaker:CONTROLLER 1:1) The Y button is really stiff and reacts as if someone poured syrup on the controller. It doesn't always respond when pressed unless you press very hard. Luckily this is the only button that has this issue.2) The right control stick goes too deep into the corners and makes it difficult to be precise in certain games.3) When I'm on my Mii maker menu I suspect there are random inputs from this controller. I had to disconnect it to get proper function. I have not seen this happen on any other game, but it was worrying to experience.CONTROLLER 2:1) Home button doesn't work, outside of that it is better in every way and has none of the issues of Controller 1. This is a negligible issue for me because you can just press the home button on the wiimote it's connected to.OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:Depending on the game you play your experience will vary. I find that for Geometery Wars they're pretty good (Not as good as using an Xbox controller if you've played like I have), but I can only use Controller 2 because the right stick doesn't have the quirk that Controller 1 has. For Mario Kart it was also usable (Though, not preferable to using the nunchuck).My biggest gripes is that for some games that require really precise aiming like Star Fox 64 the left analog is calibrated to be too sensitive, I suspect other games with precise aiming will have the same issue. It was also hard to get a response out of the d-pad when I tried to play Castlevania, Megaman, and other d-pad games; hard presses were needed which makes it feel like you're fighting the controller to play the games. Overall, if you play a game that reveals the flaws of these controllers you will be uncomfortable.Many people say these controllers feel "cheap," but if not for the issues above I would find them more or less adequate. The discomfort mainly comes from the general unresponsiveness of certain inputs.Considering that both controllers came with different levels of quality, I am not surprised that reviews for these controllers are very mixed. I got one controller that was clearly better than the other one, and my better one has a malfunctioning button.
