Features: * Suitable for wooden door less than 2.5cm (1 inch) thick. * Suitable for both swinging doors and sliding doors. * The lock is programmable, for restoring, adding or removing key cards freely. * Two unlock modes: One-button unlock mode, dual button unlock mode. * Powered by 4 x AAA 1.5 V batteries (not included). * An additional cable for external power supply (if necessary). *Batteries can last 8-12 months under normal use. * The sound alarm alerts when the battery power is low. * Keep unlocked in low power status. Instructions for use: Reset Install 4 x AAA 1.5 V batteries. Press the Reset button until you poke. Configure Administrator Card After reset the lock, you will sweep an RFID card/tag, the first card is configured as an administrator card. Set Guest Card Swipe the administrator card and then swipe new cards one by one into the beep. These cards will be added as guest cards. **Q: Why does this not release when under pressure?**
A: Because it's a lock

**Q: What can I do if I have lost both key cards?**
A: You would have to either remove the door via the hinges or one of the other sides.  When the battery dies the lock remains closed.

**Q: What are the specific dimensions & power requirements for the external power cable? usb to 2.5mm (x 7mm) male? no usb converter in package.**
A: I could be wrong but the other ones that include the usb cable appear to be a 3.5mm headphone jack cable to usb
