The paint color seems to be very close where you wouldn't notice the difference unless you look very closely at it. The important thing is to shake the paint very thoroughly before use to ensure the color is right. If the paint is not well mixed the metallic pigment settles out and the paint will appear more black. If you have a honda with the modern steel metallic paint color this paint is the closest touch up paint you will be able to find. If you do the touch up properly it will match perfect. Review: Genuine part - It is a genuine Honda touch up paint and it matched perfectly ## Features - High quality - Makes fixing small scratches quick and easy - Attractive appearance - Paint Code: NH797M ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01CGSYBUI | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Brand | Honda | | Brand Name | Honda | | Color Code | NH797M | | Colour | Metallic Steel | | Container Type | Tin | | Country of Origin | USA | | Coverage | Small | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 864 Reviews | | Dry Time In Hours | 24 | | Finish Type | Metallic | | Full Cure Time | 2 Hours | | Included Components | Touch-Up Paint Pen | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Is Waterproof | True | | Item Form | Pen | | Item Type Name | paint | | Item Volume | 0.44 Fluid Ounces | | Manufacturer | honda | | Model Name | 08703-NH797MAH-A1 | | Model Number | 08703-NH797MAH-A1 | | Paint Type | metallic | | Part Number | 08703-NH797MAH-A1 | | Size | Small | | Special Feature | Fast-Drying, Durable | | Special Features | Fast-Drying, Durable | | Surface Recommendation | steel | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Honda - **Colour:** Metallic Steel - **Finish Type:** Metallic - **Item Volume:** 0.44 Fluid Ounces - **Size:** Small ## Images ![Honda Genuine 08703-NH797MAH-A1 Modern Steel Metallic Touch-Up Paint Pen (.44 fl oz, Paint Code: NH797M) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71suIN9lihL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the plastic end with the 3 prongs for?** A: This was just to protect the tip. **Q: Is it black or gray?** A: It's not black. **Q: For the paint, is there just the pen application or does it flip and has a brush as well?** A: The paint end has a brush.
