I have not had a LiPo fire, so I can not say how it works and hope I never will. Beware, once removed from the sealed plastic bag, this product stinks to high heaven. It emits a noxious odor so strong, that it will stink up the whole room where you open it. Wear rubber gloves when you first handle it, as the strong odor will get into the pours on your hands, and it will not wash off with regular soap.I hung this outdoors on my back porch in the open air for almost 2 weeks and the smell has diminished somewhat, but not gone.
