We had it on one of the faster light cycling functions for most of the birthday party, but a few nights later we got to use it again for New Years Eve karaoke where we tried it with both the light cycling as well as the voice activated function which worked super well for that.We're also thinking that instead of letting it gather dust until the next time we need it (we'll definitely bust it out for Halloween to use its strobe light function on the front porch) we might put it up on top of the kitchen cabinet with the lowest color cycling function and a low-level brightness turned on as a kind of long-term ambiance light/nightlight. The more we think about it, the more potential uses we come up with around the house. Nevermind that due to the birthday being a hit, we'll probably have more requests by the kiddo to re-convert the basement into a discotheque every once in a while.We've caught the "live event" bug, and we're probably going to pick up another one of these at some point, and we might even go further - we'll see.
