These worked beautifully as a base layer. Soft, comfortable and warm! **Q: Would this be considered light-weight or mid-weight? I need mid-weight for temperatures around 45 degrees F** A: It may be light weight, but it's still warm. **Q: Can these be machine washed and tumble dried on low?** A: Iā€™m not sure. I washed mine and then hung them up to air dry. I wore mine in Alaska and they were great. Very warm and super comfortable. **Q: Dear seller: do you sell this product in white color?** A: If it doesn't give you that choice/option on your check out process then...it doesn't. They look well made and fit well. I was worried because there really isn't a true "size chart" on the web site page. I usually wear "S", so I purchased "S" because the site said "order usual size". I'd prefer a size chart with real measurements on it instead of guessing. I am 5'3" and 118 lbs - slender frame. These fit me well. I like the lining which is very soft. They fit easily under my jeans, so I'm sure they will come in handy as the temperatures drop. I will check out the warmth factor in early October when we head to Massachusetts for fall foliage hikes. The package has a real size chart on it - I've included a photo. Hope it is clear enough to read. They should display this information on the web site, instead of just saying "true to size".
