Well I'm too lazy to make my own so I purchased this. I used a tsp in my coffee mug in heated water. I think my next dose I'll heat the water, add the tea and heat some more as I am told the heat helps get the ingredients working together. I am fairly cautious about liquid or chewables flavor, I mean I can't take a lot....this was actually palatable! Will update this review later on the status of my cold.
