I don't order consumables that have no ingredients listed.** A: There is no ingredient list because it's lard (pig fat), and only lard. A single ingredient, as labelled, with no additives or other ingredients to be listed. Just to be clear, pigs do eat grass. **Q: Is this Non-Hydrogenated?** A: Once lard is rendered down (cooked and cooled and the solids/waters are removed) it is shelf stable! That does not make it hydrogenated. Lard isn’t a liquid that needs chemical process to solidify. Like coconut oil, lard is solid at room temp, liquid when warmed. Rendering fat, and hydrogenating fat is very different. **Q: How can lard be grass fed? Pigs can’t survive on grass.** A: You're correct. Pigs don't eat grass. They do eat some herbs and weeds, but not grass.
