I'd use a nit removal cream. Having explained that...the product is non returnable, and mine came not functioning. I have no recourse to get my money back or a replacement. To remove the nits, I bought and used a professional lice comb set because the provided comb didn't have micro grooving on its teeth for effective nits removal. Anyway, Nix is a great treatment option. **Q: Ive tried, spent hourssss combing, but cannot get all these nits out..first treatment worked to kill off bugs, but will the missed nits hatch?** A: You have to make sure all the nits are gone it’s a pain but do another treatment in a week and a week after that. I’ve read multiple sources that say nits can’t be killed by suffocation because they do not breath.** A: Any eggs/nits that are 3/4 days old won’t die because they dnt have a neurological system yet, so it’s better to treat hair again in 7-10 days for any eggs that might have hatched since the first treatment.
