I have a BenQ projector the cost over $2K, and its bulb alone costs close to the price on this projector. The marketing for almost all of these projectors is misleading regarding lumens (the only reliable, true measure is ANSI LUMENS-- but you'll likely never see this reported that here on Amazon for any inexpensive projector because it would be so low). Regardless, I'm quite the critic, and this projector, for $130ish bucks, really impressed me. If you do use it (for outdoor movie night or wherever) so long as the location is dark, it's going to be very impressive.
