Review: IDK why these guys are bitching this W/S is great - Arrived promptly, boxed and packaged appropriately, everything was there and easy to assemble. Just look at the picture guys, easy pesy. I guess these guys had a problem with the docking hardware because it's separate. Look there's different docking H/W for different bikes. I have a 2014 Harley Davidson Softail Slim, so all I did was buy the cheap docking set here for 12 bucks, it's for the rear sissy bar but works the same (as opposed to Harley's for 60 bucks) and only used the rubber insert spacers. I went to the local hardware store and bought 4- 2" M8 fine thread bolts, and 4 more spacers, as well as some lock tight. The two large spacers that came with the kit went for the topside bolts, and the two lower skinny rubber spacers went below. I had to add two spacers each side on the bottom to equal it all out. Install went great and I've got a brand new windshield with quick release for under 100 bucks total. As for popping off, even the Harley one does that, just run a zip tie around the top spring connection and around the bottom of the large rubber spacers on top. It's not going anywhere. Good job guys for getting us good stuff at a reasonable price. Heck the same Harley set up would have cost $300 plus
Review: Nice 4 the price - Fitment wasn't to rough only issue was new verses old. I installed it on a 1974 FX Hydra Glide front end the light bar is different an the lower mount was 1.5" longer so I cut it off an drilled a hole for the lower an looks & fits great. Solid no vibration an looks great just like the price. The crome could pass as show crome so I'm happy.

**Q: The width says 14-1/2 the one i have on my 2007 hd heritage measures 13" ??? will this still fit?**
A: The seller indicates that the shield will fit a 2000 and up. So it should fit your 2007 as it does my 2017. BB

A: Require additional hardware from a dealer or used parts.   Brackets and bolts with tops

A: I have been looking for HD-57184-05 docking hardware  and can not find it anywhere. What other docking hardware can be used?

A: You 'll have to check the outside width of your forks and compare it to the width of the windshield bracket graphic. One of the pics show dimensions with windshield assembled, it comes un-assembled, ez to put together tho. Mine is installed on a 2003 Fatboy, It does not come with the docking kit for the bike, only the mounting brackets on the windshield. I made my own mounts using detachable sissy bar grommets, longer fork screws, and quick releases pivot latches, removing the useless spring latches that come with it. Or you could buy a kit for another $100-$200 unless you're replacing an existing windshield where you would have the studs/grommets already on your bike.

Great and love the clear view, wide protection field and detachable feecher. The brackets fit but nothing is sold with to finish instal. After some additional spending, shopping and elbow grease, she’s got her own face shield now in perfect time for 2020😱😷😎
