The case stays open with solid, tight magnets. The pencil holder works well. Everything feels right in the hind and works very well in landscape mode on a table. This is the only case that allows the screen to rotate, and that’s nice if you need portrait mode while it’s sitting on a flat surface. It can be held in the hand with just a bit of a loose feel. It would have been tolerable had I not tried the ZUGU case. But once I put the ZUGU on, there was no going back. When I buy a future iPad, I will only buy a model that fits a ZUGU case.
