Review: Lovely lanterns, shame one was not the same as the others! - These are really lovely lanterns. They’re not very powerful as there’s only a very tiny bulb inside; it is a shame that there isn’t any opening as it would be good to have the option of putting a small flameless candle inside. However, although mine are hanging from the patio ceiling, I was worried they would be too much in the shade, but they still work. They’re more of an aged copper colour than bronze so I will probably spray them black when I get a chance. They do hang straight so the updated version is definitely better quality than the previous one, from the reviews I’ve read! Overall, they’re the best I could find for the price so I’m satisfied with them! Update: I received the third lantern I purchased and unfortunately it did not match the other two. It was black with a blue inside and very flimsy, and very poor quality. I returned the third lantern and repurchased it, this time I got the bronze one as per the description and the first two I received. There is no way to contact the seller which is not ideal when the products differ so much in colour and quality. I had an issue with two of the three lanterns I bought which had very low lighting and noticed that this was because the small bulb was too deep into the top of the lantern. The glue which is supposed to hold the bulb and cable in place melts in high heat (I live in Dubai) causing it to sink into the screwing part. I managed to push it back out and had to secure it better in place so it wouldn’t move. After all the initial hassle, I am now really happy with them!!!

**Q: Can I replace the bulb for a cool bright white instead of yellow?**
A: The lantern has a single, bright, cool white LED bulb wired at the top.  It does not appear to be changeable.  The "color" in the photos comes from the blueish color on the inside.
I am very pleased with the way this looks at night in my garden.

**Q: I followed instructions for charging with the lanterns set to on but they are still not bright enough in the night. Any advice on getting it brighter?**
A: The solar lamp only has 10 lumens, which makes it suitable for decoration, not lighting.

**Q: Does it come in other colors.Anyone know the name/title for the music played w/the video for this light(makes my eyes teary sweet?**
A: This hanging solar lantern is currently only available in black and bronze. The background music is what we found in the music library, don’t know the name.

**Q: Does the top twist off to replace the bulb?**
A: Mine didn’t work.  I wouldn’t recommend buying it.

These are really lovely lanterns.
