Retractable covers are compatible. Folding and hinged covers are not and will need to be removed. Roll-up covers less than 6" high are compatible if tent is placed over the cover, if more than 6" we suggest to remove the cover. **Q: Can you fit the tent over a truck bed toolbox?** A: Yes. Place tent over toolbox to minimize amount of water that could enter between the box and the tent. We recommend covering corners of toolbox to protect tent from ripping on sharp edges. You will lose the amount of space that the toolbox occupies. **Q: Will the tent work if my truck has a camper shell/cap on it?** A: No. Truck tents will not work if a camper shell/cap is assembled.
