By comparison, the weight of the SKLZ Pro Mini Hoop Ball (which is a heavier inflated ball of roughly the same size, not a foam ball) is 5.6 ounces. So this foam ball is much lighter and will not do as much damage as it bounces off walls, lamps, and pictures in your room. **Q: Is the foam ball better for noise? I'm in an apartment and the inflatable ball is too loud. I'm hoping this one will reduce the noise enough to play** A: I read the answer to this question by Pod and thought, "Yes! Exactly what I'm looking for!" But the ball ended up being just as loud as the original inflatable ball.
