I may need some training using it, but I was surprised it wouldn't really hold a 26 foot boat on its own. It did work as a second transom anchor once the bow anchor was secure. Which is good so the boat doesn't swing, but I was hoping it would hold the boat on its own. So its ok but not what I expected. This could be for all box anchors. This one folds up nicely and easy to store.
