Upon doing so I can truthfully declare that I adore all of his work. Ordet, in particular, was a revelation and is now one of my favourite films of all time, along with Dreyer’s The Passion Of Joan Of Arc, among others. Everything about it was beautifully made. The performances by all the cast, the screenplay, art direction, production design, the mood, and lighting.
