**Q: Does it any R value?**
A: no its a vent and its not insulated.

**Q: Does it prevent rodents for penitrating it?**
A: I don’t think so.

**Q: Could an animal easily chew a hole in this? Need it under an outdoor park trailer?**
A: Chew or rip with claws…..  it would tear easily.

**Q: what is the inside diameter?  It would need to fit on an exactly 12" pipe for my application from my dust cyclone to the dust barrel.  Will this fit?**
A: If you are speaking of a home vacuum cleaner, no it will be far too wide.  I used this to mend AC duct work in a crawl space .  It is not 12” long but 12” wide
