I needed a small task lamp that was portable, and this fit the bill. I think it holds its charge well and the light is bright, even not plugged in. There are 3 lighting modes, but I tend to use the natural light option. I actually use it plugged in most of the time, but I love that it's portable and that I have that option.But, I did have to contact customer service and they were amazing. I do a lot of on-line shopping and deal with lots of vendors, but these guys were unique. I contacted them via email (the link that Amazon provides) and they got back to me right away (on a Saturday), asked a question, I responded, and bing bam boom - resolved. It's obvious they want happy customers and that I am.Would buy this lamp again, not only for the quality of the lamp, but also knowing that the customer service is so great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice *by B***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2018* Bought 1, then my wife liked it so much that she bought one for knitting. Then we bought 2 more for relatives. Then a few more for friends. Everybody loves them. Battery life is very long, light quality is excellent, and they are very stable (they have a pleasant heft to them). There are different brands that look and work alike, but some have smaller batteries. Make sure to get the 2000 mAHr battery (I got one with the smaller 1200 mAHr battery, and it still works well - it just lasts 2 hours instead of 4). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really like this cute lamp *by H***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2016* Very pleased with this lamp. If lamp is not connected to power source, it does not really take long for power to run down, but I keep the lamp connected to my laptop while I am working and it works just fine. The 1st light level is a dimmer yellow, the next is white light and the 3rd lighting is a combination of the yellow and white bulbs. It doesn't light up the room, just your work area.
