I went in for a physical in Nov. & my LDL, bad cholesterol, and triglycerides were through the roof! The HDL cholesterol should be 0-100 & mine was 180! The triglycerides should be between 35-150 and it was over 200!! They said try to make some exercise diet & nutrition changes & they would retest me in 3 months! There are many things out there that can lower your cholesterol but they tend to have a nominal or temporary impact. For my research there's only 3 major things that greatly affect your cholesterol & triglycerides. High quality krill oil @ 3.5 grams. This covers you're omega's. I had already been taking this for quite some time already. Co Q10 is another. I was taking 200mgs, twice daily. Then I discovered Red Yeast Rice extract! I was skeptical though & when I went back in February to be retested, I was 100% totally expecting to receive a bottle of statins in the mail! Nothing came, &in a few days I logged in to the VA eHealth Website... I was shocked beyond belief of what I saw!!!
