As other comments have been made, this is possible. I converted mine to 18v with this kit. **Q: Can i just use this or do i have to upgrade all the wires?** A: Hello, the product is not suitable for modification, you must buy the original controller of the same type of socket, but also need to upgrade the wire **Q: I have the original best choice 12v jeep. is there anywhere that sells everything you need for the 24v upgrade? anyone have a list?** A: Switch out the controller board and battery. Presto ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by M***N on 11 August 2025* This fit my kids power wheels and was very functional. Last one broke and assembly was not bad. I had to reverse the connection so that the steering was accurate. Left and right are backwards for the remote. Speed on connection is good and value for it was…. Well a toddler was happy. That’s what counts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by T***R on 22 June 2022* Works great but the steering is backwards but I just turn the control upside down ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by B***W on 19 July 2020* Really liked it. Original controller in Grand-kid's Best Products 24V Mercedes (Xetros?) truck played out. I was able to adapt this one without too much trouble. The connector for the steering servo is different. I had to change the connector on the end of that pair of wires. It is a little bit larger than the original. I made a riser for it to get cooling from underneath instead of setting right on the bottom of the cavity. Pairing up with the included remote could not have been easier. ## Frequently Bought Together - weelye RX30 24V Kids Powered Ride on car 2.4G Bluetooth Remote Control and Receiver Kit Controller Control Box Accessories for Children Electric Ride On Car Replacement Parts - Valefod 6 Pack LM2596 DC to DC High Efficiency Voltage Regulator 3.2-35V to 1.25-30V Buck Converter DIY Power Supply Step-Down Module - jiaruixin 24V555 18000RPM Gearbox with 24V DC Motor for Kids Ride on Car SUV Parts, Electric Motor with Gear Box RS550 24 Volt Motor Match Children Ride on Toys Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/374116361-weelye-rx30-24v-kids-powered-ride-on-car-2-4g](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/374116361-weelye-rx30-24v-kids-powered-ride-on-car-2-4g) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
