I’ve been looking for something to mount my iPad on flights so it’s up high and not on my legs. I didn’t want one that mounts to the yoke because I want it to remain stationary. I can spend more time with my eyes outside the cockpit instead of looking down and quickly reference my tablet while doing my instrument cross checks. The one I got has no axial rotation and the tablet stays put. If you have rotation on the base like others have had, I would return it and exchange it for another one. The arm is the perfect length, I can mount it in front of my ADS-B receiver and I don’t have to worry about it getting in the way of the yoke.
