DermaRite AquaDerm Hydrogel Sheet is a sterile, transparent polyethylene dressing designed for partial to full thickness wounds. It absorbs moisture up to three times its weight while allowing air circulation to promote faster healing. Its non-adherent, cool-to-touch surface reduces pain and prevents bacterial contamination, making it ideal for skin tears, minor burns, ulcers, and even tattoo aftercare.

## Description

Aquaderm hydrogel sheet is a non-adhering dressing for use on all partial and full thickness wounds (except 3rd degree burns). It is ideal for skin tears, minor burns and ulcers. Cool and soothing to the touch, it reduces local pain and discomfort in superficial wounds. Aquaderm absorbs up to 3 times its own weight in moisture. It is permeable to air and moisture vapor, allowing excess moisture to evaporate and allowing the wound to breathe. It is transparent for easy monitoring of the wound site. Aquaderm is easy to apply and you can use either side of dressing. Aquaderm hydrogel sheet features: For the management of partial to full thickness wounds and low exudate absorption for the creation and maintenance of an optimally moist wound environment provides a physical barrier to aid in preventing bacterial contamination of the wound4" x 4".

Review: Perfect even for tattoo healing - Love this stuff! Recently got a tattoo and a certain tattoo product company stopped selling their cooling sheets so I needed a replacement. I work as a nurse in the OR and have seen these used for wound dressings so I thought I would try. So much better than I was expecting. The cooling aspect of it helps with the pain. The hydrogel sheet keeps it hydrated but still allows it to breathe. When I go to work I just place tegaderm or tape to hold it in place. No peeling of the tattoo! It is healing beautifully!

Love this stuff! Recently got a tattoo and a certain tattoo product company stopped selling their cooling sheets so I needed a replacement. I work as a nurse in the OR and have seen these used for wound dressings so I thought I would try. So much better than I was expecting. The cooling aspect of it helps with the pain. The hydrogel sheet keeps it hydrated but still allows it to breathe. When I go to work I just place tegaderm or tape to hold it in place. No peeling of the tattoo! It is healing beautifully!

Provide cooling moisture but after a few hours the edges dry out and get tiny cracks that pinch sensitive skin.They do aid in healing, wish could keep on longer.
