Our old trailer had this type strut to hold the cabinet doors open. The new one lacked them. I was glad to find these and a good price. The cabinet doors are light, so I only need one for each. I have a spare since I only needed to use three. Now I don't have to worry about trying to maneuver items in and out of the cabinet while holding the door up. The instructions were included and were clear about where to mount the brackets. Once that was done, I snapped the strut in place, and I was done. I had to add a piece of wood to the back of the cabinet face for the round bracket, but that was not hard. Bottom line: If your RV did not come with them and you have lift-up cabinet doors, get these. They will work and save you a lot of frustration. Review: Nice & Strong - I got these for a flip top workbench I added to my material cart. Install is easy.
