Can I mount it vertically instead of horizontally?** A: Can be installed vertically **Q: How strong is this lock? How many lbs force will it hold?** A: I've just installed it yesterday. Tested breaking it - it didn't budge. And have seen later an angry woman trying to break it with all her might (and she was quite heavy, and pulled-pushed like crazy) - again didn't budge :) Good lock! :) I'm more concerned about the plastic ring around the bolt. Hope it don't crack under the force. Or wear out with time. So better pull gently. **Q: Will this unlock if there's a power failure?** A: Dear Friends, Please note that this is a NC mode lock, when the lock is no wired (i.e. no powered), the lock will be unlocked. Thanks! **Q: The manual say red wire is power (+) while black wire is power minus (-) but the product has two black wires with no marking. Which is which power?** A: Yes,red wire is power (+) while black wire is power minus (-). Would you mind test again? ## Frequently Bought Together - NC DC 12V, ZOTER Electric Drop Bolt Door Lock Deadbolt Strike Fail-Safe Mode - Electric Drop Bolt Lock DC 12V Fail Safe NC Mode Electronic Door Lock for Access Control Security Lock Door (X Bolt Lock) with Time Delay Surface Mounted Lock - UHPPOTE Fail Secure DC12V Deadbolt Electric Drop Bolt Plug Narrow Door Lock Time Open Wire --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/37475391-nc-dc-12v-zoter-electric-drop-bolt-door-lock-deadbolt](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/37475391-nc-dc-12v-zoter-electric-drop-bolt-door-lock-deadbolt) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
