When I was shopping, it was hard to find reviews commenting on the firmness of blocks. If you're looking for a firm foam block, I can assure you these fit the bill. They are firmer than a "HM" foam block, and about as firm as a "HM" cork block.The color and the embossed pattern on these blocks makes it easy to see they are my personal props, and not property of the studio.
