Regional centers notoriously lie about services your child needs or qualifies to recieve - these are the first people I've worked with - attended their workshops- and learned their ABA - that get it right - if only everyone had the opportunity to learn from them - more kids would make better progress. This is powerful teaching and learning - I've worked at Harvard Business Schools' Executive Education Programs and I've seen a variety of teaching in my life thus far - this stuff works! I found the checklists at the back of the book to be the most helpful. His summer school teacher recommended we get this book. I will say that it has a lot of good information; however, it feels more geared towards teachers/educators. There are parts of the book that seem to be geared for those who have taken courses in early intervention education.
