Review: Not HDMI - I spent significant time bench-testing this unit. The unit itself does work: the cameras record to the USB stick, and the recorded video shows all four camera views. The remote and menu also work once the RCA/CVBS output is connected. The listing does say this version uses RCA/CVBS output, and I did not find HDMI mentioned in the product text. The confusing part is that the brain has an HDMI-style connector, which I naturally assumed was a standard HDMI monitor output. It is not. I tested it with a known-good mini-HDMI cable and multiple displays, and got no HDMI output. The live view only worked through the yellow RCA/CVBS output. On my harness, that RCA/AV cable was not clearly labeled, which made troubleshooting harder. Once I found it and connected it to an RCA input, the live menu and camera view appeared. The RCA image quality is poor, even though the USB recordings are much better. Buyers need to understand that the live display quality and the recorded video quality are not the same thing. The system is not completely nonfunctional, but the connector labeling and documentation are confusing. I would not recommend the RCA/CVBS version if you expect a clear live monitor image.

At night, the video looks like it is overcast daylight. Super clear and everything is visible. Installation took awhile, but that was to be expected. There is only 2 things I didn't like about it. 1. The camera housings have holes in the top. I sealed the holes with some sealant. And 2. The rear view doesn't see very far back, only a few car lengths.

The remote and menu also work once the RCA/CVBS output is connected. The listing does say this version uses RCA/CVBS output, and I did not find HDMI mentioned in the product text. The confusing part is that the brain has an HDMI-style connector, which I naturally assumed was a standard HDMI monitor output. It is not. I tested it with a known-good mini-HDMI cable and multiple displays, and got no HDMI output. The live view only worked through the yellow RCA/CVBS output. ### ⭐ Terrible cameras and system

Putting this on a travel trailer. Longest cable for the back didn't work at all, had to lose the front camera, no big deal other then you can't get rid of the bars from no camera! When you use the rear or side view, they have walleye vision so you can't use them as guidance. I really wanted to just have a birdseye view, but you can't choose that either. Cameras are about 10 feet off the ground and you can't see much with the terrible views.
