It can use any EN417 cartridge. The manual says it can only be used with "butane- propane cartridge (FIRE-MAPLE FMS-G2 230G) complying with EN417". All EN417 cartridges are the same. It appears they missed out saying "for example". When it says do not attempt to fit other types of gas container they are obviously referring to Camping Gaz or those ones that are used with the little suitcase stoves.
